GFI AppManager Use Cases

GFI AppManager is an extensible cloud service that allows the management of multiple deployments from a single web interface. It can be used to monitor appliances, apply configuration changes remotely and receive notifications about important events.

How it works

Each product deployment has its own agent that's in charge of sending metrics and health information to the AppManager. In addition, configuration commands can be sent from GFI AppManager to each deployment allowing each product to be managed remotely.

Use Case Scenarios

There are two main usage scenarios for GFI AppManager:

• SMB: An admin of a single organization using GFI AppManager to manage their company's deployments
• MSP: A service provider using GFI AppManager to manage multiple customers' deployments, separated into individual organisations under one convenient location
