Overview
After registering the account and deploying the appliances, customers can choose to transfer shared definitions to AppManager (optional step).
Solution
You can transfer MyKerio Shared Definitions to GFI AppManager with just a few clicks. Here’s how:
- Log in to AppManager.
- Navigate to the Definitions section and click on the MyKerio tab.
- Click on New Migration button and log in to MyKerio.
- Select the relevant Organization and choose Start Sync.
- Once the sync is completed, AppManager will display the synced Shared Definitions.
Note: If you have multiple MyKerio accounts, each of these accounts needs to be migrated individually.
Remember - the migration from MyKerio will not migrate the configuration of the devices. It only migrates shared definitions - see Why I Do Not See Appliances in AppManager after Migration from MyKerio?
Summary
The migration process allows customers to transfer their MyKerio Shared Definitions to GFI AppManager. This is done by logging into AppManager, navigating to the MyKerio tab in the Definitions section, and using the New Migration button to log into MyKerio. Customers then select their organization and start the sync. Post-sync, AppManager displays the transferred Shared Definitions. It's important to note that each MyKerio account must be migrated individually, and this process does not transfer device configurations, only shared definitions.
